Topshop Sass

Hey babes,

So it's been a super exciting time for me and I've recently had the pleasure of teaming up with Topshop on a student campaign. I shall be revealing to you my sassy fashion secrets that made me stand out from the crowd when I was a student.

Let me just begin to say university was probably one of the most fun and exciting times of my life. I graduated last year, and it was three years that literally went by so fast so make the most of it whilst you can! I attended an arts university so as I'm sure you can imagine I was constantly surrounded by some let's say "interesting" fashion choices. I mean don't get me wrong, I most certainly am all about people celebrating their uniqueness and absolutely loved witnessing the way my peers would express themselves through their wardrobe.

I've always loved fashion and university is what truly made me realise that. Whilst being on campus, being completely comfortable was an absolute must for me. With this it allowed me the opportunity to play around with colours, prints and accessories. An important element of this for me was understanding how to master the power of matching warm colours and synchronising them with cooler/zero pigmented tones. For example, the red bodysuit complimented by the velvet leopard print backpack. Followed by white chunky shoes and white Cateye Sunglasses with a mirrored lens, both for an edgy finish.

For this outfit I decided to use the colour black as base to allow the rest of the outfit to stand out. Furthermore this helps to break up the pop of colours and details into sections throughout the outfit. All Topshop errrrythang = SASSY AF! You're welcome ;)

P.s. Don't forget Topshop has 10% off for students all year round!

Stay Sassy, xoxo

Autumnal Sass

Hey dolls,

In true embrace of this crisp season it's most certainly the time to be sassing warm tones and statement prints. Rather than feeling all gloom and doom about the lack of sun and warmth, how about we radiate this instead and take the opportunity to have fun and get autumn sassy? Cheers to that!

First of all everyone and I mean everyone needs a playsuit in their lives. This is the perfect addition to any ladies wardrobe and flatters if not all most body shapes, all depending on the design. This one in particular is great for creating the illusion of that subtle hourglassequé (yes I just invented that word) figure due to the elasticated waistband cinching in your waist, complimented by the loose silky material.

What better way to finish off this outfit than with a cosy statement print coat to contrast the copper and warm emerald tones. This Hondstooth print coat happens to be one of my favourites that I treated myself to last autumn. If you missed it, make sure to check out the 'Houndstooth Sass' outfit I created around this coat from last year. What I absolutely love about season transitions are old classics such as this coat making a re-appearance into my current wardrobe. This exact coat is no longer for sale but not to worry, click here for a similar (just as sassy) one from New Look.

So who else is ready to join me in the autumn lane of Sass? Queens get your crowns ready to slaaaaay honey. A/W '16 we're ready for you!

Silver October Sass

Hey babes,

So this week I've decided to answer one of your questions and channel a 'Silver October Sass' look. "How do I sass one colour throughout an outfit without completely failing" you ask? Well here you have it. Let's call it my Modern Day Princess Leia look -  minus the buns but plennnty of sass!

This post is sponsored.

Notice how the accessories contrast the actual outfit. Minor details play a huge part as to whether or not you're going to be able to pull of such a simple yet a statement outfit like this. Furthermore the black bag matching the block heel of the ankle boots are teamed to subtly break up the constant silver (grey if you wish) palette throughout the outfit.

Ok I'll be honest, it's easy to f**k it up terribly lol. But if you follow these tactful sassy tips you shall undoubtedly be able to rock how to overdo one colour for that simple yet statement number. Take a risk!

Sif Jakobs Sass

Hello darlings,

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of being invited to a lovely breakfast hosted by Facets PR at the amazing Sky Garden. Showcasing her beautiful jewellery lines was the founder Sif Jakobs herself. Such a fun filled morning, here's what I got up to!

We began the morning with a delightful Mimosa reception which then proceeded on to sit down for a run through behind the history of the Danish originated company. Having travelled the world Sif went on to describe her love for "Italian Elegance", you'll notice that each of her collections are named after Italian cities, extremely unique designs for both men and women. We were also treated to some beautiful goodies from her collections.

Of course the breakfast wouldn't truly have been a breakfast without us indulging in the delicious food as we dined in the beautiful private Vinoly Room within the Fenchurch restaurant. Located on the 37th floor of the building, being surrounded by 'Sky' high windows and having the stunning view of beautiful London, this combo was the perfect and sassy way to start anyone's day. If  you haven't yet been to sky garden, then you've now heard it all from Sass Queen herself (yes I have officially self proclaimed that title.) You know what to do, make a reservation!
